How to Measure Your Ring Size

Two easy methods you can do at home

01
String or Paper Strip
wrap circumference
What You'll Need
A piece of string or a thin strip of paper, a ruler, and a pen
  1. Wrap a strip of paper or string around the base of your finger
  2. Keep it snug but comfortable — it should slide over your knuckle
  3. Mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in mm — that's your circumference
  4. Match it to the chart above
02
Use an Existing Ring
1 2 3 diameter
What You'll Need
A well-fitting ring and a ruler (or calipers for best accuracy)
  1. Place a well-fitting ring flat on a ruler or calipers
  2. Measure the inside diameter (inner wall to inner wall) in mm or inches
  3. Find the closest match in the "Inner Diameter" column above
  4. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one
Helpful Tips
  • Best time to measure: Measure in the afternoon or evening when your fingers are at their most stable size. Fingers tend to be slimmer in the morning and larger after exercise.
  • Temperature matters: Cold weather can cause fingers to shrink slightly, while warm weather causes slight swelling. Always measure when your hands are warm and relaxed.
  • Measure more than once: We recommend measuring 2–3 times at different times of day and going with the most consistent result.
  • Left vs. right hand: The same finger on your left and right hand may differ in size. Always measure the exact finger you plan to wear the ring on.
  • Wide bands: Wide band styles tend to fit more snugly. We recommend selecting the larger of your two closest sizes.
  • Larger knuckles: If your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base of your finger, choose a size that slides comfortably over the knuckle.
  • Between two sizes? When in doubt, go with the larger size — a slightly loose ring is more comfortable than one that's too tight.

✦ About the engraving inside your ring
Our rings are sized in US standards. You may notice a different number engraved inside the ring — this simply reflects an alternative sizing notation based on inner diameter, and does not affect your fit in any way.
