Jewelry Care Guide
Jewelry Care Guide
Crafted for everyday elegance — here's how to keep your pieces looking their best.
Everyday Wear
Our jewelry is made for real life. The rhodium and gold-plated finishes are designed to hold up through your daily routine — morning coffee, work, evenings out.
You don't need to remove your jewelry for everyday moments. To preserve the plating and keep your pieces looking their best over time, we recommend avoiding:
- Pools and saltwater
- Perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays applied directly to the piece
- Household cleaning products and harsh chemicals
- Prolonged soaking in water (baths, hot tubs)
Cleaning
After wearing, give your piece a gentle wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove skin oils and residue. This one simple habit makes a real difference.
For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water, wipe gently, then pat dry immediately. Avoid abrasive materials or scrubbing — friction is the main thing that wears plating down over time.
For some unplated sterling silver pieces (Modern Edit), a silver polishing cloth is all you need.
Storage
Store your pieces in the pouch or box they came in, in a cool dry place away from humidity and heat. Keep pieces separate to avoid surface scratches — especially important for rings and delicate chains.
Our Materials
925 Sterling Silver
Every piece starts with a 925 sterling silver base — the industry standard for fine jewelry. Strong, durable, and built to last.
Plating
Depending on the piece, we use rhodium, 14k, 16k, or 18k gold plating, applied over the sterling silver base. Each finish is chosen for its brilliance and durability, and designed to hold up through everyday wear. Some pieces in our Modern Edit collection feature unplated sterling silver — a more minimal look that develops a natural patina over time and can be restored with a silver polishing cloth.
Moissanite
Our center stones are D-color, VVS-grade moissanite — second only to diamond in hardness at 9.25 on the Mohs scale, meaning it won't scratch, chip, or cloud over time. What makes moissanite genuinely special is its fire: its light dispersion is 2.4× that of diamond, producing more of those rainbow flashes you see in sunlight. The brilliance of a diamond, at a fraction of the price.
Other Stones
Some pieces feature lab-grown gemstones or premium cubic zirconia accents — each selected for clarity, color, and how beautifully they catch the light.
